"'Monadelphous retained Matt as a Bid Manager for the preparation of a detailed design and construct proposal for a new rail unloading and materials handling facility for Energy Australia at their Pipers Flat Power Station.

Matts role was to oversee the development of the complete submission document including authoring many of the required management plans. The role involved interfacing with the other parties in our proposed team which included designers, civil contractors, rail and signalling contractors, equipment suppliers, electrical and instrumentation contractors.
​
Matts role included developing the win strategies, breaking down and assigning the tasks to the team, monitoring progress as well as developing content. The end result was an extremely large, high quality and technical correct document that showcased not only our offer but also the capabilities of each of our team members.
​
As with all Design and Construct proposals there were many changes in the concept and the proposed delivery methodology, many of these occurring late in the process. Matt was able to adapt to the changes and keep the development of the documentation on track. Energy Australia has since commented on the quality and the completeness of the proposal.
